Basic Pantograph Quilting
One design stitched from edge to edge and
repeated over the entire quilt or part of
the quilt. We have a variety of roll patterns
available. Prices are categorized according
the density of the pattern. |

Category A - $.015/square inch
Simple designs that have generous spacing.
These designs work best with quilts that do
not have borders or centered designs and are
for the budget conscious customer. No marking
is involved in this style. |

Category B - $.018/square inch. Patterns designs
that have medium spacing. Does not include
borders. No marking is involved in this style.

Category C - $.02/square inch. Complex designs
that have close spacing. No marking is involved
in this style. |

Meander |
 |
Basic Meander Quilting - $.01/square
inch.
Meander - A quilting method that is done freestyle.
The lobes on this type of meandering are 1"
- 2" apart. Words can be written into the
quilt using this method at no extra charge.
Designs can include meandering flowers, leaves,
stars, etc. No marking is involved with this
style. |

Custom and Heirloom Quilting
Styles |

Stipple Quilting - priced in the custom to heirloom
category.
This is very similar to meandering but is
stitched closer together. This is typically
used as a background for applique or a motif.

Motifs - priced in the custom to heirloom category.
This is where a pattern is inserted in the
middle of a block or in a border. It is similar
to pantograph quilting but usually only consist
of a single repeat of the pattern. Motifs
are priced either in the custom or heirloom
price range according to their density however,
very simple motifs may be priced in the pantograph
quilting category. |

Stitch In Ditch - priced in the custom to heirloom
category.
This technique is using a stitching line in-between
the seams of the patched piecework. We try
to get as close to the "ditch" as possible
but this technique may show some minor imperfections.
Because of the time involved in this technique
it is considered in the custom to heirloom
pricing category. |

Custom Category A - $.02/square inch. This can
be the following: A combination of Edge to
Edge categories A and B with up to 2 borders.
Average motifs in blocks with up to 2 borders.
A combination of meandering with up to 2 borders.
Includes all top markings if needed. |

Category B - $.025/square inch. This
can be the following: A combination of Edge
to Edge categories A and B with up to 3
borders. Average motifs in blocks with up
to 3 borders. A combination of meandering
with up to 3 borders. Cross hatching 1-1/2"
or larger. Includes all top markings if
needed. |

Custom Category C - $.03 per square inch. This
can be the following: A combination of Edge
to Edge categories A, B and C with up to 3
borders. More complex motifs in blocks with
up to 3 borders. A combination of the above
with design meandering. Cross-hatching 1-1/2"
or smaller. Medium density feather wreaths,
vines, etc. Includes all top markings if needed. |

Heirloom Quilting - $.04/square inch. Some of
the styles listed below. Usually anything
that has very heavy quilting will be considered
heirloom. It also includes the following:
Stipple (or small meandering) around appliquéd
items. Echoing around appliquéd items. Stitch
- in the ditch or ¼" outlining. - This might
be adjusted down to a lower price range if
the top uses simple patterns. Small design
meandering (using designs such as leaves,
flowers, waves etc.) Small wreaths and feather
patterns. Includes all top markings if needed.

Custom Design and
Piecing
Custom design and piecing is available. We
will be happy to design and piece your quilt
for you. We have experience in the interior
design field and use the latest quilt design
software (EQ5) to assist in this process.
